Como Holds Firm on Nico Paz Amid Inter Milan Interest

Como is determined to keep their young star, Nico Paz, despite growing attention from Inter Milan and other top European clubs. The management remains confident they can retain the 21-year-old Argentine at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia for the next season, emphasizing his importance to the team’s success.
Paz joined Como from Real Madrid in 2024 for a reported €7 million and has since become a central figure in the club’s rise. His performance during the 2025-26 season has been remarkable, contributing ten goals and six assists, helping Como climb into the top four of the league standings.
A significant challenge for Como is the buy-back clause held by Real Madrid, allowing the Spanish giants to re-sign Paz for around €10 million. This option complicates long-term planning, as the player’s potential return to Madrid remains a possibility.
Inter Milan has been closely monitoring Paz, hoping to secure the talented forward as a key signing in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Serie A side views him as a promising addition to strengthen their attacking options for the future.
Despite external interest, Como aims to keep Paz for at least another season, believing that regular playing time in Italy’s top flight is crucial for his development. There is still a chance that Real Madrid may allow him to remain in Serie A to continue gaining experience at a high level.
