AC Milan Intensifies Pursuit of Moise Kean as Fiorentina Future Remains Uncertain

The future of Moise Kean at ACF Fiorentina is becoming increasingly uncertain, opening the door for AC Milan to revive their interest in the Italian striker. The push largely comes from head coach Massimiliano Allegri, who has reportedly encouraged the club to closely monitor the situation surrounding the forward’s role in Florence.
Last summer, Kean committed his future to Fiorentina by signing a contract that runs until 2029. At the time, he rejected several approaches in order to support the club’s long-term project. However, only months later the direction of the team has started to shift, raising questions about how stable that project really is and whether the striker might reconsider his future.
Reports from football insiders suggest that Milan never completely lost interest in Kean. Allegri had already requested the club to attempt a move during the January transfer window, but circumstances made a deal difficult at that time. Fiorentina’s league position and squad balance limited the possibility of negotiations earlier in the season.
Several factors could influence Kean’s potential move to San Siro. One key element is his personal friendship with Rafael Leao, with whom he shares a strong bond and a mutual passion for rap music. Their connection off the pitch could help ease a transition, while Allegri’s continued admiration for the striker may also play an important role in convincing him.
Another attraction is the opportunity to compete in the UEFA Champions League, something Fiorentina currently cannot guarantee. Despite these advantages, the main obstacle remains financial. Fiorentina reportedly set Kean’s release clause at around €62 million, a valuation Milan considers too high, making the upcoming negotiations potentially complex but intriguing.
