€50m Price Tag! Onana Still Hopes for Man United Return

Recently, Trabzonspor vice president Zeyyat Kafkas said in an interview with Turkish media that Manchester United currently expects a transfer fee of around €45 million to €50 million for Andre Onana.
During his time at Trabzonspor, Onana drew particular attention for frequently acting like a “coach” by guiding young goalkeepers. As the season approaches its end, discussions about his future career plans have also intensified.
Previously, Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan stated: “Onana’s transfer fee is very high, so we cannot afford him.” It was later reported that this remark caused some fluctuations in the player’s performances.
Günebakış Spor reporter Ezgi Alp subsequently asked Kafkas about the issue.
Kafkas said:
“Manchester United currently expects a transfer fee of around €45–50 million for Onana. As for the player himself, his first career option is still to return to Manchester United. If that path does not work out, he hopes to continue playing for a top club in one of Europe’s major leagues.”
